Rollins, Sizemore, Sheffield, Nolan Reimold, and Carlos Ruiz have all hit home runs. Two at The New Yankee Stadium...shocking development.

Dice-K is ok so far, good command, a couple of K's, but a home run to Sheffield. The Captain takes one back for the Red Sox in the bottom of the 2nd. 1-1 Red Sox-Mets.

Porcello-Jimenez is heating up. 1-0 Det-Col through 2 1/2

Nolasco's struggles continue...probably will be taking a trip to the "DL". 4-0 TB-FLA

A.J Burnett falling victim to home stadium. 3-0 Phi-NYY

A First Post

These are just some thoughts about baseball...

Interleague Play starts tonight. Mets v. Red Sox, Phillies v. Yankees, Rays v. Marlins, Dodgers v. Angels...I am currently just down the road from Nationals Park, site of the Nationals v. Orioles tilt.

What I am Looking For...

• Dice-K's control...For $100 Million the Red Sox need him to go into the 7th inning, not 5th.
• Peavy v. Zambrano...Hopefully a duel. At one point this winter they were even rumored to become teammates.
• Randy Johnson in Seattle...sitting on 298 wins, and he's back pitching against formerKen Griffey Junior.
• Porcello/Kershaw...they are not facing off, but they are both pitching tonight. Two future stars.
• Mat Gamel the DH. Lets see what he has-and all 3 of his Major League Hits have been for extra bases (2 doubles, 1home run).

Plus a whole lot more, but that was just what came to mind, those are just some things I am looking forward to seeing play out tonight.
