Sweep Me Away

Another day, another Red Sox win over the Yankees. I don't think much more needs to be said because this was probably the worst way the Yankees could have lost. CC Sabathia on the mound in the 8th inning with a 3-1 lead only for him to load the bases and watch the game turn into a 4-3 Red Sox win. Of course, it is not all CC's fault, as he ended up throwing 123 pitches because 1) he can and 2) The Burnett and Wang starts from the days before decimated the bullpen making it almost a guarantee that CC was going to go deep into the game no matter what.



Now, after that, lets get onto the news of the day.



12 long years ago Interleague Play started. The San Francisco Giants beat the Texas Rangers 4-3.

As far as I am concerned this is legitimate speculation in this day and age.
